The Foundation for Head and Neck Oncology (FHNO) is a multi-specialty national society for Head & Neck Cancer in India. The members are from the entire gamut of medical sub-specialties involved with Head & Neck Cancer including but not limited to Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Maxillo-facial Surgery, Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, Reconstructive Surgery , Basic Sciences , Allied specialties, Speech and Swallowing Therapies.
Purpose of FHNO is to provide a common platform for specialists in the field of Head and Neck Cancers (HNC) to interact on matters such as risk factors, unprecedented increase in HNC epidemiology, lack of foresight into controlling the manageable disease, limited resources and infrastructure to support the healthcare system thereby help establish methodologies and practices that would help curb the disease spread and build better disease management in India.
